GeoConcept launches GeoConcept Dispatcher 3.3
With this new version, GeoConcept puts the best of its technologies to serve route optimization. Reduced costs and time savings guaranteed.
Paris, 3rd of March 2011 : GeoConcept SA, leading developer of geographic optimization technologies for professionals, announces the launch of the new version 3.3 of its solution for round optimization, GeoConcept Dispatcher.
Dedicated to optimization of logistic rounds for collection and delivery, GeoConcept Dispatcher is a software solution that allows to organize rounds at the best price while respecting the constraints of the company and its customers (miles, time, quantities, volumes, hours, breaks...).
Compatible with the cartographic engine, GeoConcept 7.0 launched in last November at GeoWorld Expo, GeoConcept Dispatcher 3.3 allows the users to benefit from many performance and features of the new nucleus (new interface, geocoding through web service, interoperability, 3D, report design and publishing...). In addition to this compatibility, GeoConcept Dispatcher 3.3 is enhanced with new features, among them :
Easier exchanges with external databases. It is indeed possible to store the story of the rounds in the vehicle objects fields , or to store the results of optimization (allocation of round, visit hour, order number...) in the clients objects fields. As a result, the tool directly interacts with the IS of the enterprise to provide optimisation results.
New options for parametring dimensions. These options allow determining a cost of use and/or a unit cost associated to a dimension of the products to be delivered or collected, to better manage some specific constraints relative to services associated to collection/delivery.
Improvement of the search method of the first solution. This method consists in setting a classification of different round options defined in terms of parametric constraints in the system and significantly improving overall optimization performance .
An interface for constraint management. Integrated in the tool, this specific interface offers a dedicated area to select and modify the constraints relative to round scheduling in few clicks.
